Hypnotherapy is great for relieving stress because it helps to activate the body’s natural relaxation response.  Your mind can start to let go of negative, unpleasant thoughts, and you can finally have the chance to learn to relax.

Stress is not a bad thing, unless you have too much of it. Whenever we have to adapt to change, we experience stress. The mind and body have to make changes to adapt to the new situation, accommodating for change, and then returning back to a calm, resting state.

Often, we never really return to that calm, resting state. Instead, we get used to constantly running ourselves into the ground.

When people use hypnotherapy as a way to relieve stress, they learn that path back to the calm, resting state, and they are able to feel relaxed again.

Once you know your way back to your calm, resting state, you can continue to find your there, and stop being so stressed all the time.
